Current Mood: tired

But YOU CAN'T POST UNTIL THEY ALL READ IT!!!! BWAHAHAHAAHA.

'k

I'm done.

Right, so lessee...journal...Um...today's been good. I'm starting to try to figure out how the hell to do action modeling, and guess what? It's damn hard. So I'm spending time looking at the tanksoar interface, to try to determine how to connect to the tcl code. God it's amazing how many things I DON'T know. But that's all good. At least I no longer feel like I'm wasting other peoples time. I can stare at this for as long as it takes, and no one but me needs to worry about it. Though I may need some input from John about what the hell an action model should model. But that's the point... Cool. And WWP should show up Monday...and I might already have recieved my new copy of the IN second printing (the first printing is so riddled with errata, my eyes cross trying to parse it...)

I need to read Candide again. And maybe Catch-22 also, though that might take more stamina than I've got at the moment. Fwoo. I should join a book club... Maybe the UUAA will make that seem less pressing. Two days. Need to do laundry tomorrow or I'll be attending my first sunday service ever in my birthday suit...not exactly an auspicious beginning...

Going for cynical humor eh?

I don't own Catch-22 which is kind of upsetting, but I have Candide and I enjoy breaking it out and reading that first chapter. Good book, good way to show many theories on life.

Written by Voltaire in the 18th century. It details a youth named Candide as he travels through life holding to the belief that everything happens for the best. He wanders the world and is beset by misfortune upon misfortune. Through it all, he stays true to his faith in his philosophy.

The book is pretty much Voltaire's way to make fun of all of the philosophies in the world at that time. An interesting read.

Big Trouble I've read. I may have been one of the first thousand people in the US to read it. :) As to the others, those first two definitely look worth checking out. I'll let you know what I think. Thanks!
