Good weekend!

Friday: My employer threw a rather large holiday party. I went and ate and drank and danced. It was sweet.

Saturday: Threw a party for [info]virginwolf and broke in the newly decorated condo. SO much fun. My beautiful girlfriend took some photographs. Did I mention she rocks the camera? Little bit.

Sunday: Took some Mii time to play with my Wii.

Matt cooked us dinner, which was tasty. Went to a housewarming party and ate awesome scones.

yeah, those pictures came out really good, still can't really see the place though ;)

I've been sick this past week, I have a paper due tomorrow and my comprehensive exam on Thursday, but I still managed to get to Target at 8 to get a Wii ;) So far I've been underwhelmed, but maybe when I get the hang of it I'll like it better ;)

ooo, ooo, does that mean you are first person i know to have a wii. yay, now that i got mine up and running on my upstair neighbor's wireless, want to be my wii friend?

my number is
1915 3488 6648 1690

What game is it that you are playing there? Is it rayman? And is it fun? I only have zelda and sports, both of which i like, but no other game is jumping out at me being worth $50.

I'm not sure what my number is, but I'll look it up and post it friends only when I get a chance, so don't turn that dial! ;) As for Rayman (which is indeed what you see there), I've only played it for like an hour, but it's pretty damn funny. I recommend it. I don't think anything will trump Zelda, but of the second tier of games, I think it's my favorite. Really warped sense of humor, and entertaining wii-centric gameplay.

I found mine when i was playing around with the address book and sending a message to my email address.

So i think if you go to the wii Message board, create message, and then address book then you can find your code somewhere around there.

Having now finally taken the time to try it, I would also highly recommend Trauma Center. I've only played a bit of it, but it's really remarkably engaging. Challenging, though, to be sure. In terms of raw fun Rayman is probably better (not to mention the multiplayer aspect), but Trauma Center seems to be a more challenging and deep game.

Cool. Glad to hear it. I think based on your reaction, my list of holiday wii requests is gonna be Rayman and Elebits. I'm hoping the latter is fun, but it is getting compared to Katamari and Pikmin, both of which i liked. Plus it seems to be using the wii remote in a way that is not gimmicky, but makes sense.

I'm torn about Trauma Center: i'm not sure if i should pick it up for the wii, or the ds. Ah, tough dilemas in life, eh?

So, what is your wii's code?

Wow, your mega Wii looks pretty rad. I just got an Atari Flashback 2 for Chris and I for Christmas. It is the poor man's Gameboy, you know. Miss you - hope you are well!

Yeah, it's remarkably cool. Especially now that I've gotten a long enough component cable to put the Wii under the screen instead of next to the projector, so the sensor bar is actually in the right general area.
